The cold and dry season has truly arrived. Are you prepared? Our family, committed to a sustainable lifestyle, has been preparing to strengthen our immune systems and maintain our health as the cold replaces the summer heat. How you feel individually depends on how your diet adapts to the changing seasons. Each person will experience different symptoms based on their unique health. What is your daily routine, and what have you been consuming?

As the weather begins to cool and becomes drier with the onset of cold temperatures, our digestion tends to slow down. This is the ideal time to transition your diet to include soups and stews, which are easier to digest. Adapting to the seasonal changes can help prevent illness, a practice our family has followed for over 10 years. We've refined this approach over time, and it has proven effective for us. We would like to share our experiences on how we've adjusted our sustainable lifestyle to maintain our health and prevent sickness during seasonal transitions.

Consuming root vegetables and soups during the fall season aids digestion during this weather transition. My daughters enjoy this butternut squash soup, and I can provide our homemade recipe at a link with complete details, click here.

Several years back, I set up a page to share my home cooking recipes. However, since opening The Botanique & Co, I haven't had enough time to update it with new recipes. I've kept it for personal use, and I believe you can follow along. I also have more recipes from before I chose to become a pure vegetarian.

While most people celebrate Halloween on this day, have you forgotten the original tradition of this October month? Let me explain. It was initially a celebration for the harvest season and the changing weather, where we were meant to gather for a family reunion before the major holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Our family live our life as an example by engaging in a rejuvenating cleanse based on our traditions to prepare our bodies for the upcoming cold season. We follow Ayurvedic principles in this Fall Rejuvenation process. For more details, please feel free to get more information, click here.

Halloween is the time to light candles, as was done in the past. If you observe the sky for around 5 minutes, you'll notice that the days are shorter and the nights are longer. Nature is signaling us to cooperate, and reminders are everywhere. Today, we rely less on this since we have electricity available 24/7. It wouldn't be harmful to ready your home according to old traditions. Let's prepare well for a brighter future.

Be safe for this Halloween and focus on cultivating inner light, which is more important than anything else. If it were possible, I would meditate on your behalf, but universal law states that your actions reflect who you are. Allow yourself at least five minutes of silence each day, and I'm confident you'll soon discover your inner light.

Reflect on the positive affirmation

"Everything that is meant for you, will naturally find its way into your life.

Anything that is not meant for you, will find a way to leave.

Let things come and go, and find your peace in the acceptance of what remains

Trust that every redirection is leading you to something better."
